The District needs a new vision. My intention is to create a healthy environment where all students in our District can thrive.

We need to:

• Reduce administrative costs
  
• Raise the ranking of our schools
  
• Open closed schools when enrollment increases
  
• Increase spending in the classroom
  
• Address student discipline issues
  
• Institute practices that retain teachers
  
• Improve student test scores
  
• Provide Vocational Training programs that encourage talented graduates to obtain high paying jobs
  
• Become a District that attracts businesses to relocate to Tucson, bringing high paying jobs so that our graduates can remain in Tucson
